Regarding to ballroom dancing competition, the newbie in DanceSport UI usually start with One Dance Class: only compete for one dance. Cha cha cha or Rumba or Jive for Latin section and Waltz/Tango/Quickstep for standard section. After that, Medal Test (three dances) which all the figures must be based on syllabus; without any development or variation (this category only conducted in National or Province Championship). Novice Class (two dances); usually the combination of Cha Cha Cha and Jive or Cha Cha Cha and Rumba. Next is Pre Ameteur (three dances); Cha Cha Cha, Jiva, and Rumba. Free for All (five dances in Latin Categories); Cha Cha Cha, JIve, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble. The next step is Amateur and Professional class.

We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.
